In most cases, I can perform a full audit and provide recommendations just by visiting your site - no login required. However, if you’d like me to make design adjustments or apply quick fixes (like mobile responsiveness improvements or visual bug patches), I’ll need temporary administrator-level access. This allows me to safely implement global styles or enhancements without disrupting your existing content or setup.

Yes, there can be. Since your website wasn’t built by me and may be using a third-party template or platform (like Shopify, Wix, etc.), there are sometimes restrictions on what I can change - especially when it comes to styling or layout tweaks. Some platforms even place character limits on custom code, which can further constrain fixes. That said, I’ll always be upfront about what’s possible and clearly explain any limitations before we move forward with any changes.

Not always visually - but that’s often the point. My work focuses on behind-the-scenes improvements that make your website perform better, not just look different. You (and your users) may notice a smoother mobile experience, and better visibility in search engines. These changes may be subtle to the eye, but they make a real difference in how your site functions and how effectively it supports your goals.

It depends on the type of improvements being made. Technical fixes like better mobile responsiveness are often noticeable right away. SEO improvements, on the other hand, can take a bit longer - usually a few weeks to a few months - as search engines re-crawl your site and update their rankings. I’ll always give you a clear idea of what to expect, and where possible, I’ll prioritise quick wins that deliver immediate value.
